Work Experience:
-Sanda Pla was responsible for Project Management duties in the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute, which forms part of the Catalan Open University (UOC). Her functions included: looking for sources of financing, proposal elaboration, project implementation, evaluation and follow up, contract signing, promotion of the project, technical assistance, etc.
-She worked in the Catalan Institute for Women, which forms part of the Barcelona Municipality. Sandra participated in the European Project: Carpe Decision that promoted equal opportunities for women and men, by disseminating, exchanging and analysing actions and experiences that foster participation and access to decision-making by women in all spheres of society. Her functions included: best practices research and analysis, definition of the web site's content and moderating the workshops.
-Sandra was involved in the European Project: Work-Life Balance that belonged to the European Equal Initiative, whose main objective was to successfully integrate work life and personal life.
-She worked for ONG Comparte, a local NGO specialized in child sponsoring. Sandra participated in several awareness campaigns to promote child sponsoring in developing countries.
-Sandra is the local coordinator for Amnesty International Women's Action Council committed with stopping violence against women.
-She was commissioned to conduct an assessment of the Health Services System in Guatemala for Doctors Without Borders humanitarian organization.
